Blend PH Partners with Mr. Laba-Luvah to Provide Franchise Opportunities to Filipinos

Jul 11, 2019

Blend PH, the Philippines’ up-and-coming peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform, targets to capture a slice of the small business franchise market by inking a partnership with Mr. Laba-Luvah, a pioneering self-service laundry shop brand with a growing number of branches locally.

Blend signed a partnership with Mr. Laba-Luvah to help Filipino entrepreneurs who want to start their laundry business. Through this deal, potential franchise owners can rely on the growing P2P marketplace to provide them with starting capital through online franchise loan applications, which will enable them to meet the financial requirements necessary to set up shop at their desired locations.

Likewise, the partnership aims to make the lives of existing franchise owners easier if they need to expand their laundromat business. Hopefully, this will enable them to focus more on their operations instead of having to worry a ton about financial concerns.

Blend can also provide information on efficient cash management and operations for small business owners through its vibrant platform that advocates financial inclusion. Mr. Laba-Luvah, for its part, welcomed this exciting partnership with the fintech startup.

Both companies hope that this will foster a feeling of empowerment and security among franchisers and customers. There is also a desire to develop a positive and powerful synergy between the online lending platform and the self-service laundry brand to help boost business exponentially and continually contribute to the growth and success of Pinoy small business owners.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity of bringing our financial expertise to potential and existing franchisers of Mr. Laba-Luvah. We share the excitement with our partner, Rogel Tapang of Mr. Laba-Luvah, to empower Filipinos who want to venture into the promising and lucrative self-service laundry space,” said Jay Bautista, managing director of Blend PH.
