Blend and TakoMagi teams up to provide quality Japanese street food to Filipinos

Jun 24, 2019

Blend PH, an Ortigas-based peer-to-peer (P2P) financial provider that targets borrowers and lenders across the Philippines, forges a partnership with Japanese street food concept TakoMagi to enable those looking to make inroads in the local food cart franchise industry.

TakoMagi is a Japanese-themed food stall that initially started its operations in Tagaytay. Its menu selection is filled with an assortment of Japanese street food, namely takoyaki, ramen, gyoza, ebiyaki, yakitori, and wagyu on sticks, served street-style.

Edrianne Dela Cruz started TakoMagi because he wanted to bring the feel of dining in the streets of Osaka and Tokyo to the Philippines. He also believes that yummy and quality Japanese food should be available and accessible to the common Pinoy at reasonable prices.

He also wants to ensure that his patrons can focus not just on the food but also on the dining experience at every TakoMagi branch, that’s why he made it a point to provide the right ambience and design that diners at his establishment would truly appreciate.

TakoMagi is quickly expanding. It is currently targeting to open 20 more branches of the franchise at the soonest possible time. Through its partnership with Blend PH, interested franchisees can avail of easier franchising terms. It is also accepting franchise package applications on an instalment basis.
